Fruth Leadership Team

Lynne Fruth, President

Lynne has served as President of Fruth Pharmacy since October of 2010.

 

Previously Lynne was an educator and consultant to the public school system.  She held this position for 20 years.  Lynne earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from WVU in 1980 and a Masters Degree in Education from Marshall University in 1995.  She currently serves on the Board of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores.

 

Lynne was awarded the Herald Dispatch Business Innovator of the Year Award in 2015 and was inducted into the Marshall University College of Business Hall of Fame in 2012.  She and Jack Fruth currently are the only father/daughter to have achieved this award.  Mr. Fruth was awarded this honor in 2000.

 

“It is gratifying to provide personalized healthcare in our local communities,” Lynne began about her move into the family business. “As a family owned regional chain, we are in a unique position to lead the way in the fight against drug abuse.  Our leadership in fighting meth production by removing single ingredient pseudoephedrine proved that local companies can impact the quality of life of residents in our state.”

 

Lynne also takes pride in her company’s role of providing over 30 scholarships each year with the Fruth Scholarship program.

 

Lynne resides in Hurricane, West Virginia with her husband Mark Madore.  They have 4 children and one grandson.

Tom Willoughby, Chief Financial Officer

Tom graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Business Administration.
A CPA, Tom has held positions of Auditor at Ernst and Young, LLP, Dir.
of Financial Planning and Reimbursement at Camden-Clark Hospital, CFO for Carelink Health Plans, and Senior Manager at Arnett and Foster, PLLC.

 

Tim Weber, Vice President of Pharmacy

Tim has been employed by Fruth Pharmacy for over 4 years.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science from Rutgers University.  He is currently working on his Masters of Business Administration Degree with American Public University with an expected award date of 2017.  Previously, Tim worked as Interim Director of Pharmacy Operations for Sears Holdings/Kmart Corporation in Illinois.  He currently holds licenses in New Jersey, West Virginia, and Ohio.

“I like being able to make an impact in our region via our company’s actions and leadership,” Weber responded in regards to Fruth’s role in the community, “Fruth has the ability to be nimble and participate in opportunities that larger companies would struggle to undertake in order to make our customer experience better.”

Tim and his wife Ann, and son George currently reside in West Virginia.

John Galvan, Director of Operations

John has been employed with Fruth Pharmacy since 2011.  He holds a B.S. in Marketing from Southern Illinois University and also is a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician.  John has over 19 years experience in various operations, marketing, and corporate roles with Walgreens pharmacy before coming to Fruth.

“It’s great to be a part of a business that works to better the area and is involved with local communities,” John  stated about making his move to work for Fruth.

John lives in West Virginia with his wife Leslie and daughters Delaney and Paige.

Jeff Pitts, Director of Information Technology

Jeff has been employed with Fruth Pharmacy since 2011.  Jeff holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.  He also holds the following certifications:  Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Associate, Certified Novell Engineer.

Jeff has helped to implement the Fruth Mobile App and modernized the infrastructure for the future for Fruth Pharmacy.

“Fruth really does care about the people we serve and the communities in which we work,” Jeff stated about why he likes working for Fruth Pharmacy.

Jeff lives in Cincinnati, OH part of the year and travels into Point Pleasant, WV for work.  He is an avid landscape photographer and enjoys travelling to mountain areas to pursue his hobby.

Charles “Drew” Massey, Clinical Services

Drew has been employed with Fruth Pharmacy since 2013.  In addition to his PharmD, Drew holds a B.S. in Chemistry/Biology with a minor in Music from West Virginia State and a M.A. in Education from Marshall University.  Drew is also a WV PEIA Diabetic Face-to-Face Provider. 

“There is always something new on the horizon at Fruth, I am never bored,” Drew shared, “from new acquisitions to project development, Fruth continues to grow and meet the needs of its customers. Fruth also provides a work environment conducive to safe, effective customer service.”

Drew is a resident of Scott Depot, WV.  He lives there with his wife Tina, son Nathan, mother-in-law Linda, and dog Marti.

Robert L. Jones, District Manager

Robert joined the Fruth Pharmacy team a little over a year ago to oversee the day-to-day operations for the retail side of the stores.  Robert brings a varied background in management from the grocery, wireless, and pharmacy industries.

“I enjoy the challenges and opportunities of working with local communities,” Robert began about his work for Fruth, “it has been a fulfilling experience watching the impact Fruth has been able to make on our local schools and organizations in the community.  I like working with the leaders in our stores to find out how we best can serve and support each community through charities and events.”

Robert resides in West Virginia.

Larry Anderson, Manager, Merchandising/Purchasing

Larry has been employed with Fruth Pharmacy since 2009.  Larry brings over 20 years experience in the retail industry to Fruth Pharmacy.  Larry has been involved in all channels of retail during his career. He has served as a Store Manager, District Manager, Regional Trainer and has experience with grocery, general merchandise, and soft-lines.  He currently oversees the buying and marketing departments for Fruth Pharmacy.

“I really enjoy being a part of the Fruth team, one that strives to provide outstanding products and services to the customers in the various communities in which we serve,” Larry stated about his work for Fruth.

Larry lives in West Virginia.  He is an avid sports fan and plays basketball anytime he can.

Brian Sexton, Specialty Sales Representative

Brian has been employed by Fruth Pharmacy since December 2015.  He holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from Marshall University and an MBA from Sullivan University, graduating from Sullivan University with honors.  He has over 21 years of sales and sales management experience in food service, higher education, and heavy duty rotating electrics industries.  He has won numerous performance and customer service awards.

“I have great pride when representing our great employees and our brand to Medical Specialties across our footprint,” Sexton responded to why he made the move to Fruth Pharmacy. “Fruth has an outstanding reputation in the communities in which we serve.  I know patients will receive incredible care from each of our pharmacies.  I am excited about the future of our Specialty Pharmacy Program. ”

Brian lives in Barboursville, WV with his wife of nearly 20 years Tonya and son Bryce.  Bryce plays Basketball and Baseball for Teays Valley Christian School.  Brian is the Public Address Announcer and Official Scorekeeper for Boys Basketball at Teays Valley Christian.  He is a musician, praise singer, Sunday School teacher, and a member of the Ministry Team at North Charleston Apostolic Church in Charleston, WV.  He also guests hosts the Tom Roten Morning Shown on NewsRadio 800WVHU in Huntington, WV.

Dee Weaver, Patient Care Coordinator

Dee has been employed by Fruth Pharmacy since 1998.  She is a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

“I love working for Fruth Pharmacy because they are family oriented. My role as Specialty Patient Care Coordinator allows me to work with our patients in a different degree.  I enjoy helping the patient receive the right care for them.”

Dee lives in Point Pleasant, WV with her husband Jeremy and their children Kameron and Kolton.  Dee and Jeremy enjoy camping and are heavily involved in their children’s sports, school, and church activities.
